Tadiyandamol Trek - July2nd/3rd

Tadiandamol (Kannada: ತಡಿಯಂಡಮೋಳು, Tadiyandamolu, Kodava : ತಡಿಯಂಡಮೋಳ, Tadiyandamol, ) is the highest mountain of Kodagu district, Karnataka, India.

 It is the third highest peak in Karnataka. It is located Western Ghats range, and reaches an elevation of 1,748 m. The mountain has patches of shola forests in the valleys.

We started on Friday night @11 PM from Bengaluru and reached homestay at Madikeri @5AM. Started to the base of Tadiyandamol after freshening up and a good breakfast. Climate was very good as it was monsoon. Peak was fully covered with fog. Trek distance was 3.75 Kms from base to peak, difficulty level was from easy to moderate. Completed the trek by 4PM(both the ways) after spending lot of time at the peak.
Then started to TalaCauvery to enjoy its beauty and get blessed from Goddess Cauvery. This place was amazing with drizzling and fog. From TalaCauvery started back to homestay.
On Day2 after having a good breakfast started to Abbe falls.



Then went to Madikeri Palace and Omkareshwara Temple. Next went to Harangi Dam but entry was restricted and dam gates were closed. Next visited the Tibetan's Monarchy at Bylakuppe, Kushalnagar. Then started to Bengaluru via Mysuru and reached @9PM.


Fees was Rs.3000/- per person which includes:
Transport Type  -  Tempo Traveler with push back seats and DVD coach
Accommodation - In a home stay
Food - 2 BreakFast,2 Lunch and 1 Dinner
            Break Fast along with Boiled Eggs. Tea/Coffee
            Lunch : Veg meal
            Evening : Snacks with Tea/Coffee (both the days)
            Dinner : Both Veg and Non veg
